Please note we cannot respond to all enquiries. Most technical problems can be solved by reading the Greenlighter's Guide, the Support FAQ and checking the Support forum.

Here is a quick FAQ:

• Why can't I log in? My password doesn't work!
  
  If you have forgotten your password, or you haven't changed your password since October 2005, you need to have it reset using the password reset form.Your new password will be sent to the email account saved in your settings. If your email account is no longer valid, then unfortunately there is no way to gain access to your bluelight account and you must create a new one.
  
  
• Why can't I post?
  
  Your account could be waiting on email verification. If you have recently registered or changed your email address, you must verify your email address by following the link mailed to you. Make sure to check your junk mail folders for the activation email. If you can't find the activation email, you can resend the activation email.
  
  You also might have been trying to post in a moderated forum. Some forums have special guidelines for posting. Read the guidelines in the forum for more help.
  
  
• Why can't I send/receive PMs?
  
  In May 2006 this feature was disabled for greenlighters. Bluelighters may still use PMs, and greenlighters who make 50 posts will also be able to use the PM feature. Please note it takes a hour or so for your PM features to be activated after the 50th post.
  
  
• What if I have a problem with a moderator or individual forum?
  
  Please see this section of the Greenlighter's Guide for directions on how to resolve such disputes. The administrators will not become involved if you do not firstly make an effort to resolve such problems with the moderating team or senior moderators of that forum.
  
  
• Will you help me contact a user?
  
  Sorry, we cannot help you contact a user who has elected not to receive PMs or emails.
  
  
• Will you delete my account?
  
  The administrators will not delete your account for you, under any circumstances. Please read the detailed instructions in the FAQ on how to leave Bluelight. Questions on this topic will not be answered.
