Clonazepam (Klonodin) Tolerance)

I have no tolerance to benzos but took a heavy 16mg dose last night. That's only my third time taking it. Tonight, I want to use it as prescribed for opioid w/d relief. Is 2mg as prescribed going to work tonight? Did I already build up my tolerance by taking 16mg last night? am i screwed now? Is it not going to work at a 2-4mg dose or does tolerance not develop that quickly?

You should be fine benzo tolerance/addiction takes 3 weeks to form.

another thing to take into consideration is that klonopin has a long half life. it may not seem like you are getting results but it works more slowly and stretches out over time. its not an instant or short acting benzo. i also agree with the above poster. you need a little time to build up significant tolerance.

is that why I can take it at night and still feel relaxed the next day? seems to last a while
